Ivinskis spent his last days in this manor. His strength quickly weakened, and the nation’s educator died on 31 July 1881. He was buried in the old cemetery of Kuršėnai Town. The name of Lauryns Ivinskis, the publisher of the first Lithuanian calendars, is mentioned respectfully by all residents of Kuršėnai Town and not only by them.
